Koopbakkal: Connecting Farmers and Consumers through Cooperatives

Koopbakkal is a mobile application developed by Tarım Kredi Teknoloji A.Ş., aimed at improving the connection between farmers and consumers through cooperatives. The app is part of the Kooperatif Marketler initiative by Turkey's Tarım Kredi Kooperatifleri, which strives to turn the hard work of farmers into quality and natural products that can be marketed nationwide.

The KOOPBAKKAL project focuses on expanding the reach of essential consumer products offered at affordable prices, while also supporting the activities of local grocery store owners. The project aims to involve these stores in selling high-quality products at reasonable prices through a network of franchise agreements. By the end of 2023, the goal is to have 1,000 points of sale across the country.

To facilitate the ordering and delivery processes for these partner stores, a new mobile application has been developed. This app ensures a seamless supply chain process, minimizing errors and ensuring the availability of Tarım Kredi products at KOOPBAKKAL sales points. With this app, customer expectations can be met in a timely manner, providing a win-win situation for both farmers and consumers.
